Customer Engagement Manager, Swine

Reporting into the Nordic Swine Business Lead, the position is accountable for our company’s AH business performance on the assigned customers/territory; developing trust relationships with a portfolio of the assigned customers to ensure growth and loyalty, acquiring a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements and expanding the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives

Our Territory Representatives interact face to face with our customers, understand their needs and consult to offer the right solutions. We work collaboratively in Field Sales Teams and play a critical role in supporting our customer centric business model.

The job:

The Customer Engagement Manager will oversee the relationships of our company’s AH with its most important clients. Will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining long term key customers by comprehending their requirements.

The CEM will be an expert in building strong business relationships with strategic customers. Will be able to identify needs and requirements to promote AH solutions and achieve WIN-WIN solutions.

The CEM main goal is to contribute in sustaining and growing our company’s AH business to achieve long-term success while ensuring the accomplishment of the yearly performance targets by gaining leadership in MS for the major core areas of the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Build, monitor and maintain KAP (responsible to create them and execute with constant alignment with the Swine Business Lead.
  • Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of key clients to ensure growth and loyalty.
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
  • Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet common objectives.
  • Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
  • Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams.
  • Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust.
  • Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as key account manager
  • Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
  • Ability in problem-solving and negotiation
  • BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field will be preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the Animal Health Industry
  • Proven business skills such as budgetary control and delivery of agreed commercial targets.
  • Practical knowledge of business 2 business techniques when dealing with very large integrated companies
  • Line management skills and the ability to lead and motivate teams
  • Good time management and organizational skills
