HR Manager AniCura Denmark

We are looking for a HR Manager responsible for driving the complete HR agenda across our operations in Denmark. It is a brand-new role.

AniCura is one of Europe’s leading providers of high-quality veterinary care for companion animals.

We offer a wide range of high-quality medical services covering preventive and basic health care as well as advanced diagnostics, internal medicine, intensive care, surgery and orthopaedics. AniCura also provides rehabilitation, physiotherapy and dietary advice and offers selected pet food and care products.

AniCura Denmark consists of 23 clinics across Denmark from Hjørring in the North to Varde in South and Copenhagen to the East. We are almost 400 employees.

The role

The job as HR Manager is a brand-new role and this is a great opportunity to build something up from scratch.

As HR manager for AniCura Denmark you will responsible for driving the HR agenda, both strategically and operationally. It is a new position in AniCura Denmark which is a consequence of growth. The successful candidate will join a thriving and growing organisation with entrepreneurial thinking and fast decision making. This is an opportunity shape the perfect HR position.

You will be responsible for:

  • Devise and implement the HR strategy, based on both central and local needs
  • Define, implement and improve basic HR functions and procedures
  • Support our clinics with HR related issues
  • Drive and/or support recruiting process
  • Perform HR related workshops at clinics
  • Drive the implementation of group-wide programs
  • Play a role in the continuous building our culture and shared values

You will report to our country CEO and the role is based in Copenhagen. The role is permanent and on a full-time basis. AniCura HQ in Stockholm has a dedicated HR team that the successful candidate will liaise with.

Who are you?

You have a successful track record as a HR manager responsible for both operational and strategic HR tasks. You enjoy a role where each day offers new challenges and a variety of tasks, and you thrive in a growing business where you can contribute to a higher life quality for pets and their owners. Specifically, we are looking for someone that has a broad HR background with extensive HR business partner experience. You are a strong communicator with the ability to build relationships across the organisation and are motived by the opportunity to make a difference for our veterinarians and nurses

You have:

  • Extensive HR business partner and/or HR manager experience, ideally you are part of a management team in your current role
  • Experience in creating successful HR strategies and implementation plans
  • Broad HR experience and specifically knowledge of Danish employment law
  • An academic degree in a relevant subject
  • Experience and skills in coaching, support managers in a variety of HR matters covering the whole employee life cycle
  • A background from health care; human or animal, is an advantage

The successful candidate is fluent in Danish, both spoken and written as well as in English. You are structured and well-organized with the ability to influence and make an impact in a high-growth environment.
